What is 100% leather made of?
100% leather is made entirely from the natural hides of animals, most commonly cows, though leather can also come from goats, sheep, pigs, and exotic animals. The process begins with cleaning and preserving the raw hides, followed by a tanning process (which can be either chrome or vegetable tanning) to prevent decay and enhance durability. Finally, the hides are finished and treated to achieve the desired look and feel. This results in a product that retains the natural characteristics of the animal hide while offering strength, flexibility, and longevity.
1.Full-Grain Leather
- Full-grain leather is the highest quality leather available. It retains the complete, natural grain and markings of the hide, offering exceptional strength, durability, and breathability.
